Justin Wise of MSN reports that Bernie Sanders has issued a statement supporting Sarah Sanders' right to not be harassed while eating dinner.
For those of you who are unaware, Sarah Sanders was heckled and asked to leave by a dining establishment called "The Red Hen." Her hecklers then continued to follow her and harass her. While crazy "Auntie Maxine" calls for more such horrific incidents, other members of the left are finally beginning to realize that some of the members of their side are going a little too far.
Now, I've always thought that Bernie was kind of delusional, politically speaking, but wasn't such a bad guy, personally. (He did come out in support of Hillary after she stole his nomination, and then, suddenly, was able to afford a third home and a sweet new ride, but with Mrs. Clinton's body count... really, who could blame him?) If I were cynical about his intentions, I would say he's making this statement out of political necessity, but I'm more inclined to believe that he came out in admonishment of the hecklers because he's not a completely nasty POS like certain others on the left.
Thoughts?
