Hello steemians, greetings to y'all.
Here's my entry into the @Sankofa's Folksongs Openmic Contest.
I will be entering the contest with a song titled Udara Mu To Nda.
The folk song was gotten from an ancient story.
A story of an orphan who had no mother and father.
The step mother, which is the guidance went to the market and bought African Star Apple. She refused to give him and licked all the African Star Apple only her finish. He went into the bush, planted the african star apple with a melancholy heart and cried.
After crying the african star apple grew and he ate.
Each time he comes back he will sing this song, which after each cry it would grow fruits and reduce in height for him to plug.
After that he will sing back for the tree to grow tall back.

Interpretation
African Star Apple grow, please
African Star Apple grow, please
Grow grow grow please
My step mother bought African star apple at the market and ate the African star apple, without giving someone that doesn't have father, or mother.
On earth is enjoyment.
Whoever stays on earth and it reaches his time, will go.
Thanks
