2 Ideas to help you save your money to buy more Crypto, you can thank me later.
Idea number one, cutting the cord
Okay this article is a game changer; I will be explaining how to get rid of your Cable Bill for good. Please pay attention because the last section of this will have suggestions that you might have to read between the lines for. This article might not be for everyone, if you are constantly watching live sports, this is probably not for you.
So my situation was this. I was paying roughly $175 for Cable, Phone and Internet. I had HBO and Showtime package. Now HBO and Showtime give you movies that are already available on DVD, just think about that for a second. The only new content you get from premium channels are their original series.
So what did I do? I canceled the Cable and Phone and kept the internet packet for $49.99 a month.
So now I was missing Cable and Phone. First I addressed phone. I went to Walmart and bought the Magic Jack Go from directly from Magic Jack www.magicjack.com for $39.95, including a years’ service. That’s $3.33 cents per month for your first year. Once I installed the product I was so happy with it I ordered 5 additional years of service for $99.75 that’s $1.67 a month for unlimited calls to the US and Canada!
Lastly I addressed the Cable situation. So I purchased a Netflix subscription for $8.99 per month. We also already had Amazon Prime so we are able to watch Amazon videos as well. All we needed was a way to put all of this on the TVs in the house. So I ordered 3 Amazon Fire Sticks for $39.99 each. One Fire Stick for every TV that used to have Cable. I plugged in the Fire Stick, linked the accounts and voila. More movies and Shows with instant viewing then we had before. We also purchased Hulu so we could have regular programs also.
Okay so let’s subtotal this. $49.99 (Internet) + $1.67 (Phone) + $8.99 (NetFlix) $8.99 (Hulu). $8.25 ($99 per year divided by 12 is 8.25 monthly Amazon Prime, if you did not already have). $64.64 without Prime $72.89 with it. Saving of $102.11 per month! This is all completely legal and my family has not been happier with our TV watching experience. With the money you are saving every month, you can go see more movies at the theater, order more PPV movies or just save the extra money.
Now if this still is not enough I have heard of places online to stream live events and even to link streaming services to your Fire Stick. And I am sure if you web search you can find that kind of stuff. Search for Fire Stick Hack or something to that effect, I think you can find more information at Cutting the cord
Idea 2, switching to Republic Wireless for your Cell Phone.
For those of you who never heard of Republic Wireless, check they out: https://republicwireless.com/. I have been using them for you and have saved so much money! Their network is great, they use Sprints network for service. However, the price is unbeatable, how do they do this? Well first of all they are not as greedy as the bigger companies, but they also save a ton not advertising, then pass that savings onto their customers. Just look at one of their plans below:
.
Not only can you choose how much data you want per month, but with this plan you can add or remove Gigs of data from you plan any day of the month right from your phone. You can also go with no data, (perfect for a phone for a Teen or Tween who is always home or at a friends house). The savings are huge, and this is not the only plan available, (this is just the one I use for my wife and oldest daughter). Compare their plans to one of the big 3 and tell me I am wrong. 2 more things to mention.
- 1- yes, you can keep your old phone number.
- 2- Yes you can bring your old phone if it is compatible. (No good for I-Phones, but most Androids and Motos are good compatible).
Here is the phones they offer right now: https://republicwireless.com/shop/phones/. Well that is basically all I have for today, I am here to answer any question. Please follow and Re-Steem if you found this useful.
