KJV:This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Jos. 1:8)
Reasons why we should mediate on God's words
prosperous:
Mediating on God's words you will be prosperous because the word of God involves prosperity and wisdom, everything you need in life to be prosperous is in the word of God (Bible).
But if you don't study the word of God and if you don't mediate on it day and night then you won't find or know about this (prosperous). Having and studying the word of God and also mediate on it you will make your way prosperous.
So many Christians find it difficult to make their way prosperous because they refused to study the word of God (Bible) and they also refused to mediate on it, which suppose not to be so.
Good success
Do you want to have a good success? Then study and meditate on God's words (Bible). They are so may words of wisdom and knowledge in the word of God (Bible) if you don't study it then you can't find it, words of success (how to succeed) Is there too.
If it wasn't there (was not true) then God wouldn't have told Joshua about this, he warned him not to allow the book of the law (Bible) to depart out of his mouth.
But so many Christians today has allow the book (Bible) to depart out of their mouth which suppose not to be so.
Don't allow the book (Bible) to depart from your mouth if you want to make your way prosperous and if you also want to have a good success.
It's was this book (Bible) that Jesus used to overcome Satan when he came to tempt him, if you don't have this book (Bible) in your mouth how will you over come temptations when they come your way.
God help us in Jesus name. Amen
