He was mistreated and marked with scars, and although
he thought it would not be worth it
waste so much time with the old violin,
the auctioneer held him up, smiling.
"What do you offer me, friends?" He asked.
«Who wants to start the offers?».
"One dollar, one dollar ..." and then, two! Only two?
"Two dollars, who gives me three?"
"Three dollars, at one o'clock; three dollars, at two;
at ... »But no,
From the back of the room, a man with gray hair
He went ahead to take the bow and, after
To shake the dust off the old instrument
And re-tighten the ropes,
He played such a sweet and pure melody
Like the songs that angels sing.
Finished the melody, the auctioneer,
In a low and serious voice, he asked again,
«How much do you offer me for the old violin?»
And he raised the violin and the bow.
One thousand dollars, who offers two?
Two thousand, at one! Who offers three?
Three thousand, at one; three thousand, at two, and three thousand;
at three o'clock, awarded! "he concluded.
People applauded, although some cried:
«We do not understand well what was
what changed its value ", they asked,
and the response was quick:
«The touch of a master hand».
In that way more than a man of life out of tune,Marked by the blows and scars of sin,Like the old violin,They offer it cheap to the indifferent,For a bowl of soup, for a glass of wine; And made the play, go your way."Awarded" once, and "awarded" the second,. Adjudicated », and almost« sold ».
But the Master arrives, and the crowd He never quite understands
What is the value of a soul, nor the change that operates The touch of the Master's hand.
Like us, we were lost like sheep that have no shepherd and wine Jesus, and with his touch he restored us the courage, because we were of great esteem before his eyes.
That Teacher is Jesus, the Savior, who came to the world precisely to save sinners. And the testimony of the Holy Scriptures is that we are all sinners, and all in need of the salvation that only Christ can provide. Through the divine message of the gospel he touches our hearts and our lives, and everything is changed. The Scripture says that "if anyone is in Christ, a new creature is: old things have passed away; behold, all are made new. "(2 Corinthians 5:17.)
Now, you and I, we are those students of Jesus, who will go through the lives of the people and touch their hearts, we will show Jesus, and the light will shine on them.
Sometimes we need the liberating touch of a teacher, I have lived it in my own life, I have been about to lose my dreams, but the liberating touch has arrived at the right time, to help me fulfill that divine purpose.
Daniel testified: "And behold, a hand touched me, and caused me to put myself on my knees and on the palms of my hands" (Dan 10:10). The word "touched" here means seizing or grabbing something violently. Daniel was saying: "When God put his hand on me, he put me on my face. His touch placed an urgency on me to seek him with everything in me. "
This happens every time God touches someone's life. That person falls on his knees. And he becomes a man or a woman of prayer, driven to seek the Lord.
THE POWER OF A DIVINE TOUCH
Have you met him? the true love that came to your life, that lifts you? The doctor who treated you, the teacher who wiped your tears? Was there a hand holding yours at a funeral? A welcome handshake in a new job? A pastoral prayer for healing? Can not we offer the same?
Many already do it! Use your hands to pray about the sick person. If not touching them yourself, your hands sending notes, making calls, baking cakes. You have learned the power of a touch. But some of us tend to forget. Our heart is good; it's just that our memories are bad. We are afraid to say the wrong thing, to act in the wrong way. So, instead of doing the wrong thing, we do absolutely nothing. We can not mistreat that faithful person who has been with us who has loved us, without giving explanations, we sometimes let the enemy always weed, and we forget things good things you have done for us, that's why we fall into depression, and try to live a false image of life. Today is an excellent day, to remember and be grateful for that person that God put in your life to touch your soul, your heart and your spirit
Jesus touched the untouchables of the world. Will we do the same?
LETTER: The Edge of His Mantle
Juan Carlos Alvarado
//If only he touches the edge of his cloak
If only I could see his face
If only I could touch his hands
Free would be, I know
If only he touches the edge of his cloak
If only I could hear his voice
If only I could get close to him
Free would be, I know
Why in front of you
I'm just someone who needs
A touch of the teacher
To be released
Why in front of you
I'm just someone who needs
A look from my savior
His name is Jesus
Jesus, Jesus
Jesus, name without equal//
