Blessings to all friends and brothers in Christ. My new reflection message is about a woman who showed her loyalty until the end with her mother-in-law Naomi.
After the death of her Hebrew husband, Ruth could have remained in her own culture, which would have been easier and more viable for her. Instead, he decided to travel with his mother-in-law, Naomi, returning to Bethlehem, where he was going to be a foreigner. Why did he do it? The reason seemed simple and logical from his point of view was absolute loyalty to his grieving mother.
Loyalty unites individuals. True loyalty is not easy, since it requires us to be patient and willing to endure the inconvenience.
Loyal people modify their program to meet the needs of the people they serve. In addition, loyalty requires always pay a price. Ruth, for example, made a great sacrifice to leave family and friends behind to serve Naomi.
Of course, godly loyalty also deserves a great reward. God saw Ruth's deep and permanent loyalty and rewarded her with a loving husband, a beautiful son and, finally, included her in the family line of Jesus Christ.
