One of the things that God wants is the multiplication of his church in quantity, firmness, conviction and holiness. But what does it take for a church to grow today? - Do you need strong and well-prepared leaders? - Of course you do. Is it necessary for the blessing and leadership of the Holy Spirit? certainly! But in addition to these and many other ingredients, for a church to truly grow, it takes volunteer workers who want to serve the Lord through their church.
It is important to say that it is the lay workers who carry out the different ministries of the church. It is they who develop the programs, teach the children, pray for the lost and invite them to come to church.
It is the workers who carry on their shoulders the different responsibilities of the Lord's church.
The gossip, the conflicts and the excessive work that exists in the church today are clear indications that what is needed is to recruit, train and put to work a greater number of workers in each congregation.
The requirements for those positions have already established the holy spirit in the example of the church of Jerusalem.
You are part of the solution to the different problems of your church. Are you willing to cooperate and do everything in your power to help?
There I leave you this reflection.
