My Lord and my God, I exclaim tomas.por you have seen me, You have believed, Jesus told him; Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.John 20: 27-29
When I think of shots and doubts about the teacher's resurrection, I am always filled with astonishment. Those doubts led him to state categorically: "As long as I do not see the mark of the nails in their noses, and put my finger on the marks and my hand in his side, I will not believe it (John 20: 259.as it is doubt, it leads us to demand evidence that we could see with the eyes of faith.
For a long time, takes had treasured in his heart the promise of the resurrection of Jesus and now that it had finally occurred, he acted like a disbeliever. He had participated in the earthly ministry of his teacher, he knew his voice, the sound of his steps, his gestures, his expressions and his infinite tenderness, it is wiser that he had power for that and much more, for he had verified it for himself. Nevertheless, it seemed that all those clear manifestations had been overshadowed by doubt.
Over his questioning rose an incontestable truth: Jesus Christ had risen. As soon as you had to admit it, it took him to express with a heart full of anguish: "My lord and my God" (John 20.28)
It is possible that you, as you take, have also walked with Jesus for a long time and that however, for some circumstance present that experience has been overshadowed and you harbor doubts about his company and his care. It may be that the certainty of believing in a living God it has dissipated in your Christian experience and you feel far away from it. If that is the case, do not allow doubt to pass into unbelief. When this happens, the heart hardens and we give deaf ears to the voice of the Holy Spirit calling our conscience.
Friends and brothers despite their doubts, God exists and can act immediately after you open your heart and allow your intellect to retrace all the past time in which the Lord has been guiding your passions, giving meaning to your life. Live your life trusting in Jesus is the best option and decision.
