Phishing scam targets greymass EOS wallet

A scam website mimicking github is targeting EOS users trying to download the greymass EOS voter wallet. The website uses a high resolution image of the greymass EOS voter github repository. The intent is to fool EOS users into thinking that it is greymass EOS voter wallet so that they download and install it.

If they setup their EOS accounts using this malicious wallet, the owner of this fake wallet will be able to gain access to their private keys and the victims will lose access to their funds. The website is github-greymass dot com. General users are advised to stay away from this phishing site.

The scam was reported by redditor Hive account@marcel975 who claimed that he lost access to his EOS account after using this wallet. He said, his wallet had 200 EOS when the hacker changed the private keys of the wallet.
