SCAM ALERT!
If it was not difficult enough to deal with the current hashflare debacle I now suffer a second setback in the world of crypto investing.
The bitcoin wallet where I move my hashflare bitcoin, qoinpro, is currently down. There is no access of the wallet in any way as the main webpage is only showing a false image of a upgrade. The upgrade is dated to for a June release date but that was more than a month ago.
Reading through twitter and reddit it is likely that the creators of qoinpro have left and with them took many unwilling investors their cryptocurrency.
So how did I get myself into this situation? The thought process at the time was qoinpro gave faucets and fork coins every time bitcoin had an official fork. Those incentives lured me into using their wallet. Then personal life got in the way of checking all my crypto assets across the many platforms I had crypto in. I regret not looking at the wallet a lot sooner than I had. If it was not for the hashflare chaos I may have ignored qoinpro until September where my hashflare contract ends.
Lesson learned. Do not store crypto in a third party wallet no matter what or at least not longer than a few days. You do not know what may happen in the future. I simple mistake that even I overlooked.
Thanks for reading.
