, I did not see your original post about this Twitter scam. I was just on Twitter myself. Ash's original post is here:

Today, like every day, I was scouring news from Twitter from my favorite sources like Satoshi Nakamoto and Bored Elon Musk. Obviously, the Satoshi Nakamoto Twitter account is not the real Satoshi, but I enjoy reading and sometimes responding to his hilarious tweets, whoever "he" is. He has a biting, cutting sense of humor that I really admire, so I usually check his account on a daily basis for inspiration.
Anyway, today, I noticed that Ned Scott had started following me on Twitter. I thought that was a bit odd, but anyway, I went to Satoshi's twitter page and I discovered that Ned Scott's Twitter account had sent Satoshi Nakamoto a private message which Satoshi had tweeted:
Then, as I followed this tweet, I noticed that Brian Cohen had revealed that this twitter account of Ned Scott was actually a fake doppelganger phishing account that was created to look exactly like the real Ned Scott twitter account.
Ah! Even I was fooled for a minute or two because the fake account looks identical to the real one! The fake one even has copied the retweets of the real one. And everything is copied, like the photo and background image.
The only difference is in the spelling of the accounts:
REAL NED SCOTT TWITTER ACCOUNT: @certainassets
FAKE NED SCOTT TWITTER ACCOUNT: @certianassets
It's quite tricky even to notice that the word, 'CERTAIN' is spelled incorrectly as 'CERTIAN'.
The scam involves the fake Ned Scott sending this link to his Twitter followers and instructs them to send Bitcoin to a BTC address. Here's the scam link, which takes them to Survey Monkey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VVBQCPV
DON'T DO THIS!!!!
I reported it to Twitter, but the more reports filed, the quicker it will be taken down. I just wanted to alert everyone in case they received a message from the fake Ned Scott's Twitter account.
