i was recently scammed by some Internet thugs. Iam sorry to say, but my country has some serious problem with Internet scammers.
This is the hardest day for me, I can't still get over it, how they managed to fool me.
This has cause me some serous psychological issue with me. Not many people that much of mental strength to forget it, I hear so many stories about scams in India, and I always thought I would never fall for this internet thugs.
But I was wrong, they got me.
So I had some old college books which were of no use to me, I decided to sell them on a site called olx.com. The moment I put them to sell it, I received a call from someone who wants to buy my books.
He said he will send me the money though a payment app called PAYTM. Then he asked me to accept the payment through the app. And later asked me, that to receive that payment I must have some balance on my wallet. By that time I should have known something is fishy.
It still took me some time to understand his tricks, and
I went on to follow his instructions, I deposited 1000 Rupees into my account, and sent him 600 Rupees as he asked me to do so, in order to receive my payment.
And he went on doing this, untill he received 8000 rupess, which is 100 dollars approx.
Then slowly I realized he is making a fool of me.
So I later filled FIR at the police stations against these internet scammers.
These people are so smart and well trained to take money from you.
I have learned from my mistake, I hope this does not happen to any one else.
Stay safe my dear friends, internet scammers are online thugs. They are criminals online. Don't lose your hard earned money.
Getting scammed can seriously effect your mental health as well.
