Over 500 years ago, there was an alien species of bee that was mutilated from an unknown force. Unlike most bees that lived in nests, it lived on its own due to the unusualness. The male was about 10cms in length and visibly large for a bumblebee. It witnessed many people's horrific reactions to seeing it. Some peasants believe they were cursed after seeing the bee. Despite being an insect, the creature was unusually intelligent. It was able to memorize incidents after some time, as well as recognize basic emotional expressions. It had a face that resembled a fox, while the rest of the body was that of a bee. The creature prayed on smaller insects while it was alive, such as flies, smaller spiders, and smaller honey bees. It had a fast metabolism, so it was always enduring from hunger.
There was a nobleman's daughter named Petronella. Unlike most women in that era, she was fascinated by the principles of life and was never strongly religious like her family. She would often sneak out of civilization whenever she could, mainly during hunting sessions. Her unprecedented and curious nature often got the best out of her. When she heard of the "demonic insect", she became overly fascinated with it. One particular evening, she sneaked out of her home just to seek it. Her guards offered to go with her, protecting her from the dangers. However, she insisted on going alone.
"Hello? Is there anyone there?" Petronella silently called out once she got closer into the forest.
Once she got there, she noticed that the forest was unusually dark. The bee creature hid among the shrubs, fascinated and mesmerized by her. She began taking her sword out of fear. The creature slowly flew closer to it but was still invisible to her. Just as she was about to head back, she saw the insect through the silhouette. It was much larger than she thought with a face that resembled a fox. Out of the rush of adrenaline, Petronella silently shrieked. The creature vanished before she could know what she was doing. Blinded by her beauty despite bing human, the creature went into the person's genital area.
"What the hell is this?!!" the nobleman's daughter screamed out in pain.
The next morning, Petronella woke up in the private hospital in the palace. Two months later, she realized that she had got pregnant despite never encountering any males. When she gave birth, the entire noble family as well as the villagers were egregiously astounded. The creature that came out was neither human nor insect. It was a female, but it had the upper torso that of a human and the lower torso of a insect. The nobleman's daughter was forbidden back into the palace and banished from sight. She later raised the female hybrid single-handedly. The creature was typically the size of a regular human, however, it did not resemble them.
Five years had passed before the nobleman's daughter gave birth to the second child, which was also a mystery to them. After the human had died, the two reproduced together and used their ability to create an pocket dimension-like space for them to stay in. They created a hive where they became a part of, a kingdom for their breed to stay in. Every 50-100 years, there would be a new queen chosen from the working class bees. The hive kingdom remained in place for over 400 years before Henry had come along. Their existence remained concealed from the mainstream, mainly because they would be chaotic otherwise.
