Eutopia and Lolite went out of the hut to keep the males entertainted. They knew it would take for more than ten minutes, but they reluctantly were forced to wait. Once the drops of liquid were added into the scrying pool, Audrey went into her bedroom. McKayla watched as the first vision began appearing from the surface.
It was an woman with raven-colored hair and pale skin, she had green eyes that resembled her own. She appeared in her mid-30s, with an rather gaunted face that only aggravated with her dark clothes. She was chanting something, more like a prayer in a foreign language. McKayla could tell that it was not something from their chamber. There was a sudden rustling outside, as the woman went out of her house. It was a small cavern that she dormanted in, with secluded surroundings. It was a large moonracker, with claws that could take a human. The whistling was so sharp it could break anyone's hearing. The vicious creatue became sedated with the comfort of the woman.
The woman rode on the back of a moonracker, into an even more secluded spot in the middle of a cliff. There, McKayla saw something she would never speak of again. The woman and the moonracker began making love, as she could hear the moaning from the woman. It went on for over 15 minutes, with the moonrackers claws gripping onto her long hair. Two weeks later, the woman who's name was now revealed to be Monserrat, found out she was pregnant and bearing the child of the moonracker. The vision ended with her breaking down to tears. The language they were speaking in was foreign.
Monserrat (sob): please, I'm begging you.........she's only a child!! An innocent child, please don't burn her!
Mayor Phillips (sharpily): you have sinned with your will!! Your lust have deceived you, when you thought you could get away with a half-bred!
Monserrat (sob): I'm begging you, she's only a child!! She's done no harm, take me instead!! I deserve to be burnt anyways!
Mayor Phillip (scoff): as you insist. Your death will be that of tomorrow before dawn. Your daughter shall be banished from our residence, never to come back again. If she does, then there'll be consequences!
Monserrat: thank you. You're so great, your honor!!
Mayor Phillip (sharpily): guard, take her away!!
The first vision ended there, leaving McKayla as bemused as ever before. The noise of her surroundings was regained, as she saw the others still talking outside the house. Before she could regain her consciousness to leave, another vision came into the scryping pool. She refused to see any more, knowing that it would saturate her with overwhelm. However, her mind energy was sucked into it once more.
A girl in her 14-15 deeply resembled the woman named Monserrat. She was that of any typical human, but McKayla noticed there was something wrong. When endangered, wings would begin to sprout that of a moonracker. The head still remained her own, but she could make the succinct sound of the bird. She was roaming around their chamber, avoiding the residence civilization at all cost. She discovered there was a portal, in which could lead her to another chamber. The surroundings were familiar to McKayla, as she realized it was none other than their own chamber. The residents were mortified seeing her in the air, with some telekinetists attempting to break her down.
Just as they anything could not appear anymore tragic for the young mixed breed, a young man appeared in the lights. McKayla could recognize the silhouette from the very distance. It was Jonathan Ryan, he appeared to be in his 15-16 years of age. He took the young girl into his hut while she transformed back into human. She was upset that she did not have a form in the realm, but he comforted her. Jonathan made sure she could live in his hut, given he did not want to permanently live there anymore. McKayla felt infuriated, knowing he had lied to them all these years. Telling them that he did not have a home in the realm.
Jonathan (softly): so, you don't have a name do you?
Pnaiski: nope!! My mother was sent to death before I could remember, I lived on my own and self-taught everything.
Jonathan: well, I know there's a legend of a brave woman named Pnaiski. How about I name you Pnaiski?
Pnaiski (smile): that sounds so beautiful, you're so nice!! You're a telekinetist, that must be so powerful!
Jonathan (awkwardly): well, my friends still think I'm a child at this! So........
Pnaiski (buoyantly): surely you're not. I for one, think your telekinetism is the strongest I've seen.
Jonathan: Pnaiski, I want to ask you something.........you said you have nowhere to stay, would you mind living in my dormance for a bit. Afterall, I've still got major uni exams to go through.
Pnaiski (tearfully): thank you!! I would take care of your place, I promise!!
Jonathan (awkwardly): you're not something I've seen much around here. You're special, embrace it while you can.
McKayla felt a mixture of envy and resentment boiling inside of her, being unable to think with emotions that strong. Just as they were about to kiss, another vision came into the scryping pool. She could hear Naia asking them how long it would take, with Marius replying something. The third vision revealed everything at once, to a point she was unable to recall most of it. However, there was one thing that never got out of her memories, it was the bracelet.
Jonathan was sitting on the bed next to the girl. There was a small ornated box in her hands. She stared at him with a melancholic expression in her eyes. Just as he was about to say something, she kissed him on the lips. The two of them then began taking off their clothes as they spent an hour making out. McKayla felt stiff from watching this through a scrying pool. After they were finished, she could see tears streaming down his cheeks. Pnaiski got up and took something out of the ornated box. It was a jade bead bracelet. Just as she was about to put it on him, he kissed her again.
Jonathan (mutter): why do you have to go?!!
Pnaiski (sigh): I can't stay here any longer.......if your mayor finds me, they'll kill me! Here, this is something for you. It belonged to my mother!
Jonathan (contrited): I can't take that...........
Pnaiski (smile): it's something for you, for you to remember me while I'm gone. I'll be back soon, I promise you!
Jonathan (sob): please, stay safe while you can. I'll always love you!
Pnaiski (quietly): I will too, you saved me.
The vision did not finish, before it was skipped to something more contradicting. McKayla could the reaper-moonracker stalking Jonathan, alongside with the rest of them. Every time they entered the realm, she would be in the far distance. She was egregiously astounded by how intelligent and good her sight was. She looked into her eyes, and could tell that she was rather envious. The vision magnified the times she and Jonathan were talking together. Most of it blurred out the others, only the times when he touched McKayla. She knew that she was in trouble, without needing to watch it to the end. Samuel's constant claim of being watched, or Naia's cries of hearing moonrackers in the distance of the night, it was all her. It suddenly made sense to her now, all those years of feeling watched.
There was one particular vision that stood out the most. It was them again, only it was the most recent one. It was something she was familiar with, with them being stuck in the shell. It turned out that the creature they regarded as the keeper was her. After watching Jonathan toss the bracelet into the water and resentfully glancing at her, she flew off. Just as she was about to leave, she decided to hide behind a concealable boulder. Witnessing McKayla holding his hand while he was distressed, she knew that would be the last thing for them. She called out several other reapers in order to use their ability to carve their skin. McKayla knew that she was an identifier, just like Mazoon. However, they were way more advanced.
Marius (exasperated): McKay, you finished in there yet?!!
McKayla (quietly): I have. I've seen everything I needed to see, we can go now.
