Inventor of color Anish Kapur says that the peculiarity of Vantablack color is that the paint can absorb 99, 96% of light. It was developed specifically for use in the aerospace industry. The developers say that they took as a basis the spray, because this method of applying color is the simplest and most convenient. Now the most black color can be painted any object.
So far, the paint is not available to the public, but it will go on sale very soon.
Disputes about the "blackest color" have long reigned between Anisha Kapoor and other artists. Despite the fact that Kapoor acquired exclusive rights to use Vantablack in his works, the worst opponent was the artist Stuart Sample.
An interesting fact is that first Sample invented the "most pink", then the "most successful" color, and then the "best black" pigment. All colors can be purchased by anyone, except Anish Kapoor.
