Megalodon the Titan of the Seas! Photos of Megalodon's teeth.

The megalodon is mainly known thanks to the multiple teeth and some fossilized vertebrae that have been found. Like modern sharks, this is a cartilaginous fish, that is, the skeleton is made up of cartilage and not bone, which explains why few fossilized skeletons have been found. However, the large teeth of the megalodon have crossed the ages and are similar in many respects to those of the Great White Shark.

Current experts generally give megalodon a size in adult age of 16-28 meters, and a weight between 77 and 103 tons.
