Titan is the best candidate in the solar system for finding life. But not of the form found on Earth.
The temperature on Titan's surface is −290 degrees Fahrenheit. It cannot harbor life as we know it. But it has lakes of methane and a thick atmosphere, so scientists are wondering if there might be other forms of life on it.
Cassini space probe has found evidence of vinyl cyanide in Titan. Scientists believe that this substance is a good candidate for forming cell membranes for a theoretical life form. Of course, more research is needed to test this theory.
