Over the course of the next 20 years, more will change around the way we do our works than has happened in the past 2000 years. In fact we are on the dawn of a new age of the human history.
Regarding the way we do our work, there have been for distinct historical periods:
- The hunter gatherers age lasted several million years.
- The agricultural age lasted several thousand years.
- The industrial age lasted a couple of centuries.
- The information age lasted just a few decades.
And today we are on the cusp of a New Era for our species: the Augmented Age.
It consists of cognitive augmentation, physical augmentation, and connection augmentation.
