Well hello again.
I have been writing about this, and today I came across a very interesting article. The medicine is finally catching up things.
Some studies shown that psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and ALSO an anxiety and very well know panic attacks are just the question on PH level in your body.
Aaaand you will say so what. Anyone who has suffered from panic attacks knows this is no joke. The feeling is, heart starts to pump up like it's gonna explode, you can't breathe, you start to sweat a lot, and that type of cold sweat, and generally you got a feeling like you are about to die. This turns into more fears, anxiety, social anxiety, all kinds of problems.
So you will say, how to bring PH level up? By diet? It takes weeks, months, I tried all. Medicine sucks.
I found the answer! Just breathe! Not any type of breathing, and therapy breathing for this type of disorders that clearly help to some degree. But WHM breathing. A shit load of breathing and oxygen. Your PH level will go through the roof after only 20 minutes! It is tested, I have been writing about this!!!
I am so sight, because every day, I found scientific, medicine proof that this method does wonders. I've been doing this for two years, it changed my life.
Okay, let's back to study.
they have found when the PH level in the BRAIN becomes unstable, it causes all kinds of processes that trigger fight or flight response.
Basically you trigger fear.
In general, the pH of our brain is carefully regulated. A large increase or decrease in brain acidity can seriously disrupt brain functioning. This new study indicates that pH can sometimes rise and fall in synapses, the points of communication between individual neurons in the brain. Some synapses include specialized proteins that "sense" acidity. These proteins (called "'acid-sensing ion channels", or ASICs) stimulate neurons when increased acid is detected.
Also, they have found out that when Carbon-Dioxide reaches the level of 35% in your body, that is when all things happen. You start to panic and trigger all kinds of disorders. So basically, when you are at the closed rooms with bunch of people, I have panic attacks, and I can see that now. They are all exhaling the Carbon-Dioxide and your brain becomes acidic and here you go, anxiety, stress, disorders, attacks... all crumbling in.
These experiments are especially relevant to understanding panic disorder. One of the most consistent findings in patients with panic disorder is that they are unusually sensitive to carbon dioxide inhalation and other laboratory procedures that increase brain acidity. Most patients with panic disorder will experience a panic attack when they inhale air containing 35% carbon dioxide, while most healthy volunteers will not.
Interestingly, the close relatives of panic patients will also panic during carbon dioxide inhalation, even if they have never suffered from an anxiety disorder. A hypersensitivity to acid in the brain appears to be part of the inherited vulnerability to panic attacks. The recent studies in mice lacking the ASIC protein add further credence to this understanding of why some people are more prone to having panic attacks.
And what about bipolar disorders and more serious stuff?
Exactly the same thing!
It all triggers when your brain is starving with oxygen, and becomes acidic. We held the answer the whole time, but medicine just now starts to make connections with this things!
There were earlier hints of the acid-disorder link: studies that directly measured pH—a metric of how acidic or basic something is—in dozens of postmortem human brains revealed lower pH (higher acidity) in patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Multiple studies in the past few decades have found that when people with panic disorder are exposed to air with a higher than normal concentration of carbon dioxide—which can combine with water in the body to form carbonic acid—they are more likely to experience panic attacks than healthy individuals are. Other research has revealed that the brains of people with panic disorder produce elevated levels of lactate, an acidic source of fuel that is constantly generated and consumed in the energy-hungry brain.
