This interesting animation was an artist concept which came to public domain in 4th April, 2011. The size of Curiosity rover was as same as the car size. The only motive behind making this car size rover was to analyze Gale Crater on Mars. Cape Canaveral was the place from where Curiosity Rover was sent to Mars on 26th November, 2011 via the MSL spacecraft. Within eight months On August 6, 2012, curiosity successfully landed in Gale Crater region called Aeolis Palus on Mars.
