I am a lefty. I recall the days in primary school when teachers used to force me to use my right hand(am sure they dont do that anymore) but I would switch hands whenever they were not looking. I then became ambidextrous because of this. But as I got older and had a voice I eventually managed to settle into my natural hand usage and felt more confident about making sure I was not forced into being right handed.
Even when I went to further my studies in architecture, ridiculously there were no left handed drawing machines available and i started and entire group to advocate for left handed machines. Which in hindsight may have helped all lefties from then on out.
For my first year i had to switch my hands when drawing plans and had them crossed over in some weird awkward attempt to draw with right hand machines.
This i know may sound crazy today but yes it was how thing were in those days. Lol. Great post. 😊🤚🏽 ps just realised there isn't even a left handed high five emoticon lol🤣
