Before you were born I went swimming in the dead sea (well floating - its actually quite difficult to swim in as your legs keep surfacing the water). I can remember two things

1. When I came out I was encrusted in a thin layer of salt which was really irritatingly sticky and I had to walk some way to get it rinsed off
2. I forgot that I'd shaved that morning - every slight scratch or mark on my face stung like hell.
   Happy days..
