Once, the moon of Saturn, carrying an asteroid, strikes the wounds. In 1789 Saturn discovered this moon, astronomer Sir William Herschel, in his name, the name of the wound was called Herschel Crater.
The ridge is about 130 km in diameter. This moon named Mimas is a huge ice sphere. It is believed that there is a large water reservoir inside it.
