Said shortly,
as a trained physicist, and in particular as one with an interest in formal mathematics, I'm the bad position that I hardly every find any science related explanatory video that I don't agree with in some spot. I know that to explain something properly, sometimes you want to make gross simplifications and so for the most part, I learned to live with such wrongings. There's a youtube channel Kurzgesagt which doesn't appear to have a steemit account (not that surprising) and by which I am repeatedly entertained by. I think I found it first watching the video on quantum computing below - a field I worked in before going into augmented reality.
I'm reminded of the channel because they just uploaded a sort of meta video, which is somewhat philosophical. It's about Nihilism, something people repeatedly come back to, explaining in how it hasn't to be associated with a goth kind of sad feel lifestyle.
I don't personally relate to the last part (as I rather subscribe to a physical anti-realism and were never much concerned with death and such) but I really like how the first half merges popular imaginary of Segan and popular graphics I already know from the web (like the week-as-dots sheet).
Now that I mentioned Segan, I feel obliged to add my favorite optimistic video on the web.
In the future, I write up an overview of the youtube channels I can stomach :)
