What an amazing universe this is...
Such an infinite variation of forms the creative unfolds out of, through, and into.
Two of our human beings' most favorite: sound and sight. Music and visual design.
And perhaps yet even more fascinating, though rarely explored... the intersection between the two, the interplay of sound and physical form, the expressive dynamic of transmutation between vibrational manifestions as our perceptive capabilities translates them.
Or to summarize into a single word:
Cymatics.
Is there a connection between sound, vibrations and physical reality? Yes, and it is called Cymatics.
Cymatics, the study of wave phenomena, is a science pioneered by Swiss medical doctor and natural scientist, Hans Jenny (1904-1972). It is derived from the Greek 'kyma' meaning wave and 'ta kymatica 'meaning' matters pertaining to waves.
In 1967 Dr. Hans Jenny published a book titled Cymatics. Inspired by systems theory, the work of Ernst Chladni, and his medical practice, Jenny began an investigation of periodic phenomena but especially the visual display of sound. He conducted experiments animating inert powders, pastes, and liquids into life-like, flowing forms, which mirrored patterns found throughout nature, art and architecture. All of these patterns were created using pure tones (simple sine wave vibrations) within the audible range. He was able to create a physical representation of vibration, or how sound manifests into form through the medium of various materials.
His fascinating work offers profound insights into both the physical sciences and esoteric philosophies. It illustrates the very principles which inspired the ancient Greek philosophers.

Of course, the literary explanation is one thing. Yet, to see these phenomena in action are another.
And thus...
This is perhaps one of the most amazing visual demonstrations available:
Another cool one:
And this one in particularly is quite amazing, with it's extremely high-quality CymaScope captures:
Sure enough, while these above examples deal more in the physical forms generated through cymatics experiments, there are also correlations between sound and color.
Nicola Tesla has been quoted many times, for his conviction in the secrets of the universe being encoded into the laws of vibration - music being among them:
Nikola Tesla imagined the world in musical terms, describing the cosmos as a ‘symphony of alternating currents’ that works on principles of vibration and resonance, with its ‘harmonies being played on a scale of electrical vibrations across a vast range of octaves’. ~source
As had Edgar Cayce, also...
One other cool video on the topic...
This one, it's unclear as to how the phenomena was constructed and what exactly the link is between the conversion of sound into it's holographic counterpart - i.e. whether there is a direct mathematical correspondence between the forms and colors generated, or it was merely the arbitrary effect of a random algorithm.
Nonetheless, it's pretty friggin' awesome to watch, and expands the mind to the possibilities within these vibrational-alchemical worlds...
Many wonders, undoubtedly.
May these astoundingly beautiful videos provide some inspiration, and deepen your appreciation into the magic of nature's design.
Bless. 🙏
