Scientists have found a new solar system. However, these scientists are not researchers of space exploration companies like NASA.
Those who have found this solar system are called 'citizen scientist' (Citizen Scientists).
The distance from the Earth to 620 light years, ie, 1,86,000 miles per second (600,000 miles per second) will take 620 years to reach there. There are five planets in the center of a star like the sun. They are close to the Earth and Neptune in the shape. It has been named 'K2-138'.
How did this solar system find? NASA 'Kepler' telescope has been taking pictures of the universe for several years. In a couple of years, two hundred and eighty thousand stars have been photographed. These photographs have been deposited by about 20 million documents. It is impossible for certain scientists to research such a huge amount of documents.
That's why a project was taken, which was open to all. Any scientists from any part of the world can observe these documents. The name of the project is given as 'Exoplanet Explorer'.
Scientists associated with the project said that more than 10,000 scientists took part in 48 hours of the launch. After three days it is found in 'K12-138'.
