This is the third and final part of Time related theories. Once again unless you understand the "Time is the different states of the 3D object named Universe" you should read my "What is Time" article. Also it would be good to read my first article on Time Travel. So if everything is said, let's get on it.
We have all seen movies that use time travel. Someone goes back, changes something and everything breaks. Simple. This is even the time travelling that created the paradoxes. The explanation about paradoxes still remains the same. As always I will be drawing on the white board to explain some things so observe well.
First of all I want to clarify, how this kind of time travel looks and how I will be drawing it for easiness. Both images are showing the same thing from a different perspective.
So what do we mean by circular time. We mean that each state shows its nextState as previously, but the last state also shows the first state. This would mean that everything is connected. Present, past and future. This is how a timeline of this type works.
As we can see, the first state to be created shows itself since it is both the head and the tail of the list.
Once again, we have the 3 cases we had last time, but we will only be checking the one where every other state gets updated since that is the one we see in movies. Since it is a bit complicated to explain by typing, I will provide you with a user case scenario.
This is our starting scenario.
The timeline reached up to 2027 where the Time Machine got invented. It is built like so:
A scientist then takes the time machine and goes back in ancient Egypt and shows it to them. So then they create a statue of it. That change would now update all states since everything is linked. This would mean that in 2016 we would have already found the statue and we would have the memory of it. Now we have the image of what a Time Machine looks like.
Then we go to the future again. Now the scientists have an idea of how to built it. Yet they want to try and change everything so they build it in a different shape.
This means something in the future has changed. What this does is update again everything starting from the state the change happened. That would then go into the first state and so forth until it reaches again to the current state we are in. That would mean that without time travelling again, the statue has changed, and so did our memory. So we reach the future again and the scientist have build the time machine in the image of the statue. This shows that by changing the future, we also changed the past.
This is what circular time is and how time travel would affect it. The key here is to understand that we wouldn't notice anything. If something changed in the past or the future we wouldn't notice because our memories would be updated to the current version. Then again it depends on the time required for a state to get updated.
I am pretty sure that the scenario is very explanatory so I don't know what else to type. To the question, which time machine was first, the answer pretty much is, "it doesn't matter". We don't know and never will. It is something that happened and changed every other state. Maybe someone was bored. Doesn't matter. The point is that it happened thus causing a mass change in data.
Well that is it for this theory, I hope I was able to explain this properly. Thanks for your time, and once again I am Tsinik and I hope I stimulated your brain to a satisfactory level. Please check out my other posts. Goodbye.
