This was the traditional chinese medicine from few days ago photo, I don't know what it is lol
I always disagree with people who think chinese medicine is a voodoo trick, that is they don't know the traditional chinese culture focus on result oriented, as long as mixing this and that and boils, drink it and it will relieve the symptoms....
not being able to find the mode of actions like in western medicine doesn't mean that they weren't a possible treatment!!
I am not saying chinese medicine can treat acute diseases, but in terms of chronic diseases, they certainly provides an alternative options.....
And to be frank, even if it is due to so call placebo effect, you still need to build an accreditation so that people believes in this "crap" so that their mentality help improve the medical conditions. and if something is done to help the patient to recover does it still call a treatment or fluke?
Having clays to treat wounds are common practice in multiple "primitive" "early civilizations" nowadays we might see those as bad "treatment" options, but what if there are trace antimicrobials against pathogens presence in the soil, what if there are virus that targets the pathogens within the soils? no one has to know how it helps the patient, just the result can help will be enough.
Why can't mixing different ingredients as a form of organic chemical synthesis reactions, but a witch craft?
Why we don't have to prove 1+1 = 2 in order for use to apply this simple math?
As a oriental scientist, I truly believe that I have a well educated background to say, traditional chinese medicine is of medial value. And indeed, limited strong scientific studies have been conducted, but if you consider the long trail of chinese history in the application of traditional chinese medicine, then this will generate a great pool of "testing" subject, making those treatments "clinically tested"
