Excitement with the price of Steem has been distracting me. I've been spending time simply watching the price of cryptocurrencies. When I get so myopic about things like that, I think it is time to step back and find something else to do.

We've been having a few interesting philosophical discussions in Steemspeak voice chat lately, since Hive account@mughat has come back to play the part of the antagonist. Debate is very hollow without a worthy opposing idea. Mughat's own objectivist philosophy makes him the perfect foil in these discussions.

I've tested my ability to vocalize my own thoughts but I'm still digesting a lot of new ideas I have discovered concerning analytical psychology, Jung, Nietzsche and a whole raft of philosophers and philosophical standpoints.

These are some of the latest presentations I've been watching to help me integrate the narrative of Jordan Peterson. Since receiving support through Patreon.com, Prof. Peterson has presented a three part narrative on the 'Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories'.

These are not short presentations. They are deep and lengthy introductions to very profound ideas. What is most surprising is how popular they have become. Peterson seems to have tapped into a deep need for this narrative.
