I saw this funny interaction with my colleague the other day, at our company we have these ID doors where we need to scan our IDs to get in or out of the office.
It was just after lunch and I was standing outside the office having a phone conversation, that’s when I saw this funny interaction between my colleague Tom and this lady.
Tom had just gotten out of the toilet and as he turned to the office door, he saw a lady in front who had just scanned her ID to unlock the door. As the door was unlocked at the time Tom just casually followed her through, and then this happened.
Lady turns around.
Lady: "Excuse me, do you work here?"
Tom: "Errr., Yes" (while pointing to the company logo on his shirt).
Lady: "Your pass should be shown at all times."
Tom: "Oh sorry", (taking out his pass from his pocket).
Lady: "Can you go out and scan your pass again"
Tom: "….."
So Tome did walk back out and scanned his pass to get back in, but the lady was already gone.
I asked tome afterwards if he knew who she was, but he had no idea. After seeing that interactions, I now make sure that my ID pass is displayed all time hahaha.
