Aqueduct, Segovia, 05/11/2019
Segovia is famous for Roman aqueduct. If such a large aqueduct was built to supply water for the city, how large would the ancient city be? It would be difficult to say that the scale of ancient civilizations were smaller than the one of modern civilizations.
I continued to track and walk to see how far Segovia's aqueduct is connected. This is where the aqueduct finally ends. It is told that the new town of Segovia starts from here. Not like the smell of ancient town! I walked along the lowered aqueduct on the top. The water is not flowing now, but imagine how fast it must have been.
At the end of the dried up waterway, the glory of the past dried up together.
