Introduction
Day after day, I am working on improving the link profile of my account: so that down the road I can be in a position to provide a service that people would be willing to pay for. What I do everyday is outlined below.
What have I do lately?
Yesterday I did this:
- Wrote an article: https://steemit.com/travel/@ucluelet/your-home-away-from-home-cabins-lodges-and-cottages-rentals-in-ucluelet
- Onlywire the article to all my other profiles
- Post on my Ucluelet Trello Board: https://trello.com/b/cbFUpjnZ/ucluelet-british-columbia
- Inspect my own profile to discover new backlink opportunities
- Added my RSS to Feedly: streemian.com/rss/@ucluelet and streemian.com/rss/@cryptoctpus
What Am I Doing Today?
I discovered that my account has a lot of authority built because I participated to the bitsharestalks.org forum for almost 2 years. It was very interesting to me. I naturally liked talking about bitshares and without knowing it, it built a healthy amount of backlinks via the signature that is linking to my steemit profile.
Today I just got accepted to participate in a cool surfing forum. The links are DoFollow so I will be participating there. Everytime I will write or respond to people, I will get a DoFollow link to my account. Pretty neat!
So I planned on writing at least 1 post or 1 reply a day on that forum from now on.
What New?
I have been refreshing my knowledge of SEO by reading The Advanced Guide to SEO by Neil Patel and Sujan Patel. SEO changes so fast that it is hard to keep up.
Also Steemit.com keeps getting more and more popular!
Conclusion
I strongly believe in daily consistent actions that compounds over time. It is not about getting as much backlinks and exposure as fast as possible but maintaining the course over a long period of time.
I can't wait to find out if all my efforts will pay out in 6 months.
