A Window View
We went out a little earlier today, but it was pretty much overcast. A few hours after getting back home the skies began clearing. I am still having issues with my 50-300 mm zoom lens, so I have opted to switch out for a little while to my wide angle lens. I have been enjoying the panoramic type photo's and stitching them together to make my own pano shots. With the wide angle lens fewer images needed. Here is the view out my window. As you can see not much other than trees.
Initially I was not going to make a panoramic shot, it was just going to be a couple of picture to play with and get a little more learning experience with the camera, and the software that I use. I think *Auto stitch" did a nice job joining the two images together. Here is the un-sepia view.
Some of the trees still need to leaf out, a few birch and a few cotton woods, but they are doing pretty good. It is looking like a nice early evening. We have a lot of green right now in Alaska, we just need the blue a little bit more often than once a week, soon we should be having days of blue skies. I am looking forward to them and hopefully another mountain trip or maybe Homer.
Here is a Black and white version of the pano.
All three images the same, yet different and sort of evoking a different feel with each view. Well that is pretty much it, Hope to see you all on #mountainmonday.
