Hello HIVE community! During quarantine I was able to spend enough time on sewing which is something I always wanted to learn. For many years I have liked to recycle old clothes to transform it and give it life again. I had several projects where I made simple arrangements such as adding new details (buttons, appliques, drawings with paint), cutting skirts or pants, shrinking dresses, etc. But in march of this year I made my first garment completely from scratch! Using the fabric of an old nightgown I was able to make a baby dress. It took me several hours to do it because it is sewn entirely by hand. Here the result :)
The funny thing is that I did it for my niece Magalí who was 7 months old in march, but since the quarantine was not over yet, I couldn't see her to give it and now I don't think she will fit in! So I have it in my closet, waiting for another baby in my family so I can give it.
Hope you like!
Regards.
Laura.
