A court in the Indian city of Bombay approved the divorce request of a man who claimed that his wife showed an excessive and insatiable sexual appetite, no matter how exhausted he was.
The judge considered in her ruling that, when the wife did not appear at the trial, nobody contradicted the plaintiff's allegations, so the court has no choice but to accept the evidence and grant the divorce.
The husband explained to the court all kinds of details, such as that his wife forced him to have sex against nature or that, although he worked hard in three different shifts and came home exhausted, the wife demanded that he be satisfied.
The man related, among other examples, that in October 2013 he underwent surgery for appendicitis and, although he was convalescing, she forced him to have sex.
According to him, his insistent, aggressive and stubborn behavior led him to make the decision that it was impossible to continue living with his wife under the same roof.
In India, the majority religion is Hinduism (80.5%) and arranged marriages are the most common practice among the population that professes this faith, which makes divorce an affront against the family, so it is very infrequent.
