It's getting close to the end of the year and I had to burn some vacation time. In my typical fashion, I made no plans and had no real destination in mind. Here is a brief update of my travels. I plan on going over each day with random pics and adventures we encountered along the way.
Saturday morning I woke up and decided to get a rental car for a week. Day 1 is the Red line on the map. It was about a 22hr straight thru drive to Texas. I've made the trip a few times and was familiar with a few different routes to get there.
Day 2 and 3 are the Yellow line. That was the Arkansas adventure. Boy did we get lost! More on that later.
Day 4 and 5 is the Blue line. It took us all across Arkansas and Mississippi cotton fields, then up into Tennessee and finally to Kentucky. Man, I love Kentucky! Such a beautiful state.
Day 6 and the final day took us from Kentucky up into Ohio and back to the Mitten! So much fun stuff along the way.
