Summer Vacation
This Red Admiral butterfly is resting after coming out of the chrysalis and casting a nice shadow. It will pump blood into the wings in order to get them working and flapping – then it will fly. It takes a few hours for the butterfly to master flying. Then the search begins for a mate in order to reproduce.
During my summer vacation there will not be any judging or prizes, but I will curate the tag and this will give you a chance to show off any shadow photos you want.
Remember to keep the main focus of your picture on the shadow and use the #shadowphoto tag. If you post your link in the comments I will give upvotes, like always! Have a great time shadow hunting!
