In our area of this wonderful world, the pin oak trees will hold on to some leaves until the spring. This is an indicator of the degree of winter weather. More leaves worse winter.
This year was less leaves holding on to its branches and our winter was not to bad.
The sun is shining bright today so I choose these leafs as my subject for the shadow contest.
