Our National Flower
Bangladesh has a national Flower. Every Soverfign country has some logo which represents its national culture, heritage and natural beauty. So is the case with Bangladesh.
The national flower of Bangladesh is ‘Shapla'. Which is one kind of lily.
Shapla is alos called ‘water-lily'. There are different kinds of ‘Shapla'. In Bangladesh there are mainly two colours of ‘Shapla' – Pink and white.
The national flower of Bangladesh is ‘white shapla'. ‘White' is the symbol of ‘purity'. Bangladesh is a land of rivers and ‘Shapla' grows in winter. So the ‘ Shapla' which is designed to be the national flower of our country has found its rightful position.
