Yes and if those people still ran the place then everyone would be running around in loin cloths and throwing spears at buffalo. Everything that makes this country a place where everyone wants to live was brought in by the white Europeans - the people you refer to as invaders. Prior to their arrival there was no country of natives as you seem to imagine. There was no infrastructure or anythign else. Just over 500 separate nomadic tribes of primitive hunter gatherers following the herds of buffalo. The unadvanced cultures always fall to the more advanced ones, otherwise civilization would never evolve.

P.S. In case you didn't realize this, the "Latinos" are descendants of Spanish people. Spain is also in Europe last time I checked. The Spanish conquistadors invaded Mexico and killed the native Indians there like the Aztecs and the Mayans, so hispanc (descendants of the Spanish) people are every bit as much "invaders" as the settlers that came to the land that is now the US.
