This is ridiculous. Here in my wonderful home state of Michigan we have had a little of everything the past few weeks. It's been 30 degrees below 0, 55 degrees and sunny then this. 31 degrees and raining pure ice. Everything is about 1.5 inches of solid ice. This is the front and rear of my parking lot. The tracks were made last night when it was still slushy. Now it is all frozen solid.
Not to mention the cars were frozen to the ground.
Then I had to chisel the ice off just to get the doors open.
The slush stalactite hanging from my car also fused to the ground.
Luckily today it warmed up to about 33, just enough to melt the very top of the ice and make it even worse than it was. Then we get this news for the weather tonight. A flash freeze.......and I have a 90+ mile drive home tonight.
Ugh. Guess it will be another 2.5-3 hour drive home. I need to move South!
