We all like a bargain, but it can involve a lot of hunting around. There are some services out there that let you get some money back on your purchases. I've been using Quidco for the last year or so and have accumulated about £100 so far. I expect you could get a lot more depending on your shopping habits. I know it says about £70 on the page, but some transactions are still to be confirmed.
All you need to do is sign up. Then just go to the Quidco site, select a retailer (or search for a product), then click through to the retailer site to make your purchase. You may just get a few pence back on a pizza, but there are bigger rewards for others. We got £35 for using an energy switching service and £30 when buying a phone (from Giffgaff a cheap and cheerful mobile service).
There's also ways to get the cashback when out in actual shops.
Now, of course, I have some interest in you signing up and they will pay me to do so. There's a special on where they will give you £20 for a new user, provided they accumulate £5 of cashbacks. There's an option to share some of that with the referred person and I've set it so you'll get £7.50 once you reach that threshold.
I'm just trying to save a little money and generate a little extra income. Of course you can sign up people too to get the same benefit.
Here's the link again if you decide to use it. Thanks if you do.
My signature also contains some affiliate links, but those really just make me pennies.
