A long time ago in the Kingdom far, far away, nestled deep in a forest, not far from a waterfall, the land of the Wonder elephant existed.
And the Wonder elephant was feared by all of the villagers, however the Wonder elephant only wanted to have friends. Big friends, little friends, gigantic friends, tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny friends, stretchy friends, stringy friends, dark-haired friends, light-haired friends; the Wonder elephant dreamed of them all.
But, you see, the reason why the Wonder elephant didn't have any friends was because of a dark, mean warthog that ruled the villagers. The warthog's name was Bob. Bob was a cantankerous, dark warthog and the reason why he was so cantankerous, is that he really just wanted friends on the inside too, but he just didn't know it yet.
You see, Bob would run around town, corralling those villages up, running circles around them, tripping them and even dragging them around by a rope. all the villagers would start to run as they would smell his stink from across the way as he started rounding them up with the rope and leaving nothing but a stink clown behind him. Yuck!
One day, our wonder elephant, longing for friends, whose name was Wonder Ella, watched from afar Bob being a terror to all of the villagers. Watching the cacophony and mayhem spread amongst the streets, our magical Wonder elephant decided it was time to get over being shy and protect who Wonder Ella hoped would become friends when she ran in and saved the day.
All of a sudden in the distance the villagers heard and felt a rumbling under their feet; could it be a mystical creature galloping down the mountainside? Although it felt like a mystical creature maybe galloping down the mountainside, Wonder Ella was actually tumbling down the mountainside because she had fallen asleep on the way down. Fallen asleep? Did I forget to mention that Ella was narcoleptic?
All of a sudden Ella was coming down at lightning speed like a big tumbling Avalanche. Old Bobby boy... He didn't see it coming! All of a sudden that rope that old Bobby boy was holding, was now attached to Ella's ear. As it caught her ear, oh dear oh dear, poor Ellie let out one heck of a Yelp!
Ella woke from her slumber and found herself plummeting. She raised her trunk and caught a trunk of a tree. It was at that moment that she realized that that mean old dark, smelly, pig-headed warthog was hanging at the top of the tree by his smelly tail and everybody in town was clapping!
Ella seemed to have everything she wanted, but now she felt for old Bobby, hanging in the tree in his own filth. As the towns people cheered and cheered, Ella thanked them for their applause and once they quieted down she introduced herself. Ella was so excited that she pranced and did a small curtsy, and said greetings Fair town I am the wondrous Wonder Ella and I have come to help you but now I feel, Bob needs our help now. Yeah, old Bobby boy might have a bit of a temper, but so would I if everybody mistreated me and told me how smelly I was and refused to help me. Would be cranky if I never had a bath. In fact, when I don't have a bath, magical elephant or not, I still get pretty stinky and cranky.
Ella asked the town,"Would anybody like to climb on top of me and help me push Bob up off the tree limb?"
With her kind request her new friends came to Bob's rescue and safely lowered him to the ground where there was the fire chief and his fire team, waiting with the hose... Bob really needed a bath. the villagers unsure we're excited for their new friend Wonder Ella and ran and grabbed buckets of soap to help give Bob a bath. Once they added soap, they added more soap and when they saw suds, they added more suds. Everyone got so excited that they started a village bubble bath party!
Down every street and in every window, there were bubbles everywhere, from the air to the hair from the ears to their nose to their toes, there was bubbles everywhere!at last they had rinsed off Bob and discovered the Bob was not really the dark and mean warthog that they thought he was, but he was a spotty, happy, tiny, little warthog. Even though, underneath all that dirt, Bob was just a tiny, little warthog, he was truly spectacular!
Bob, shocked by how everyone had treated him, was so excited that he started running around in circles around Wonder Ella! As Bob ran around Ella in circles Ella started to run in circles as well and they spun and they spun and they danced and they fell. After all of their fun. Ella stood up and dropped her trunk down, where Bob pranced up to ride on her back to a new fun mountain. The villagers looked on and they laughed and they cheered at the fancy little jerk of a warthog named Bob and a Wonder Elephant, so magical and splendid that the same day she showed up, the terror of Bob ended.
Wonder Ella didn't have to dream of a day where she would have friends anymore, because now she had her tiny little warthog, Bob- and her villager friends from afar.
