After I joined Steemit, i felt the desire to tell you about my motherland - Siberia.
Many people who grown up here don't like this plaсe and try to leave it as quickly as possible and I understand why. It often snows in winter, it's cold and windy. The temperature in winter can fall below - 30 degrees.
it sounds scary, but in fact the cold is not felt so much. Sometimes in february it can be 0 degrees, it's not impossible! What can be there impossible? Absolutely right - Siberian winter without snow!
But I like Siberia very much, cause I'm a photographer - I can go out and see this landscapes, which inspire me every winter
For those who don't know, Siberia is a huge territory that extends from the Ural mountains to the far east, borders with Mongolia and China. My city Novosibirsk is considered the capital of Siberia. Novosibirsk is the third largest city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg.
For 500 kilometers to the south there are incredibly beautiful mountains of Altai. This pictures was made by my friend during a trip last year, when we decided to go to Altai in the winter with the help of hitchhiking. It was fun!
We were very surprised when we saw that there was almost no snow and +2 in January! When we saw this old bus, we
decided to do photosession based on movie "In the Wild" immediately! Do you remember this one?)
There are many stereotypes about Siberia, but here live ordinary people who love nature, their tradition and culture and don't love cold :)
Perhaps it will became a news, but it's incredibly warm in Siberia in summer. Siberia has a sharply continental climate, and the temperature in summer can reach 30 degrees with a plus sign. Did you know?;)
About Siberian summer I will tell in the second part soon :)
Now I'll just show one of my favorite photos, made in a wheat field last summer
Thank you for attention and ask me any qwestion about Siberia or Russia!
