- Always have at least two people at either side of you while performing
- Never leave any flammable substances unattended
- Always leave a 2 – 3 metre barrier between audience and performing area
- Do not perform under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
- Always have fire blanket and fire extinguisher handy in case of emergency
- If you see a fellow performer leaving their equipment lit and/or lying around, please notify the nearest appropriate person
- If fire breathing, always have someone ready to put you out in case you catch fire
- For group performances, only one person burning at a time
