At dusk, on the road between the Ukrainian cities of Zhmelnitsky and Rivne, just behind the small town of Shepetivka, where the coniferous forest begins, I stopped the car.
550 kilometers of the road was behind. I decided to stretch my legs a little and let my eyes relax. At dusk, it's hard to drive without stopping.
Going to the side, I saw a small flower, which I had not seen before. Or, I did not pay much attention to him.
I took the camera and took a couple of pictures. I did not know what kind of plant it was. This picture was kept in a folder forgotten until today. These pictures are not very good quality. They can not be called macro photography, it's just a spontaneous photo. But, the plant is quite recognizable. for lack of other, my own, pictures of this plant, I will use them, but, I know where I should return in a year and spend more time and attention for this plant.
As it turned out, this plant is called the White campion - Siléne latifolia.
This herb is a plant with a thin stem. It's easy to pass by. But, in life, anything can happen and, it's good to know that you have an assistant in an emergency near you. Yes, I did not make a reservation, exactly, my assistant.
In folk medicine it is used as an anesthetic, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and hypnotic.
