OK first things first. I AM NOT GIVING THIS COIN AWAY FOR NOTHING. There is a catch and hopefully it is one that will benefit us all... I think we will call this one 'Catch 61' :)
So here is my plan and I hope this all makes sense.
I like to buy silver with my crypto and some of the items I buy have more sentimental value than others. For example, the first coin I ever purchased will not be sold and the solid silver cigarette case will also not be sold. Well, not for another 19-years it won't be, not until its 100th birthday. However, not all of the silver I own has this special status and in this instance there is certainly two sides to every story...
Now we are all adults here and I hope you understand that we all need to make our way in the world. Now this is normally do in some form of capitalist way and it involves selling something to someone, at a higher price to which you first purchased it. Within reason this can still be good for both parties, but it also leaves room on both sides for advantage to be taken. I often get taken for a mug as I dislike the capitalist way(as we now know it) and find it hard to "rip people off" in order to make a living wage. I've know this is true, because I am a self employed mechanic and the amount I have to charge folk, in order to pay my bills, is pretty much criminal. Instead I cut my cost and take the brunt in exchange for a clear conscience.
So while my self employed career earns me less than it shouldcould, I have a proposal that will allow me to sell my services(Silver) at a large enough profit to make it worth the effort and also allow one of you lucky people to win an ounce of fine sliver, for nothing more than an upvote.
But there are a few rules I need to make clear and then we can start the show and see if this idea has any steem...
Rules of the sale
- You must up-vote and re-steem this post
- When the post has been paid out, the person who gave the highest value up-vote will win the coin.
- THE COIN WILL ONLY BE SOLD IF THE POST RAISES ABOVE $20
- If the post does not reach the $20 target, I will repost and deduct the previous payout from the target amount. ie, this post raises only $5. In 7 days I will write out a 2nd post and the target will then only be $15, before the coin is sold. This will continue for a maximum of 3 weeks and at the end of the 3 weeks, if the target is not reached, I will offer it to the highest bidder and if they wish to pay the missing amount, the coin will be theirs.
- I will pay for the P&P(UK only) If to be posted abroad, I will pay 50% of the P&P.
- You do not have to leave comment, stating the amount you gave for the up-vote, but you may if you so please. A comment to say you have re-steemed will be necessary.
- You may ask someone to vote on your behalf.
- You may top-up your up-vote with a offer of payment, via steemit wallet. (if your vote is only worth 1c, but you have 20sbd in your wallet, you may offer up a bid. This bid will be clearly stated in the comments section and I will also try to update the post with this information too. Best bet would be to keep an eye out in the comments section and you can keep track of your bid/vote.
If there is anything I have forgotten to add, I will update and inform all.
As far as I can see, this is all pretty simple and I hope you all see the potential benefits. Because let's just say this post gets 50 votes of varying values, that add-up to the target value, which would be a first for an unsponsored post of mine, but lets just say it happens. Now If I am thinking straight and my calculations are right, this means that there is a possibility of one of you picking up £20 pounds worth of silver, displayed in a magnificent way, for a vote worth $1 or $2! And that would be pretty awesome for all of us, right?
The obvious kicker for me is that if a few folk decide they really want the coin, then they will try to make sure this happens. Whether that is by increasing the percentage of their vote so it can not be beat, or whether someone decides to ask a friend with a little more voting power than them to make a bid for them. For me, this has the added bonus of creating a profit that far exeeds the value of the coin, but still without robbing all of you good folk. I mean what is the worst case scenario, you vote on the post and don't win... Well, then you haven't really lost much have you? The most you will ever have to pay is $20 and if you so happen to win against someone who voted with a $19 dollar vote, then so be it. Some you win and some you lose and any extra profit can help to find the really rare coins. And that's when this all starts getting very interesting for us all...
So lets get this show on the road!
It is completely up to you, how you secure yourself this beautiful coin. You should try to think outside the box, if you are one of the many folk who do not carry a monster-vote. The rules are simple and anything else is your business.
Good luck folks and happy voting! If this works how I imagine it could, I will be certainly buying more coins and there is a big possibility of me getting hold of some pretty good coins in the future.
Here is this weeks prize and I can assure you it is legit. I do like this coin but out of the few silver items I have, this has the least sentimental value. I purchased this coin a few weeks ago from Ebay and it cost me £25 pounds(with P&P). As it says on the coin, it is 1oz in weight and is made of fine quality silver. This is an uncirculated coin and the subject matter is quite unique too. Some one is going to love this coin and it could be yours for next to nothing.
Again I wish you all good luck!
Don't forget to Up-vote and Re-steem this post to qualify!
