Happy Sunday silver lovers! I thought I'd showcase a few pretty cool 1 oz Silver rounds.
First up is one of my favorites, it's the Engelhard prospector. This is a classic piece featuring the prospector panning for gold. Engelhard products have became pretty sought after and this is a pristine example here folks
Keeping with the theme the next one is the Provident prospector. It's a generic piece but they nailed the design. I love that the old dude got his donkey with him and this would have been a familiar sight during the gold rush. The back of this round is amazingly detailed so let's take a look..
To show how the equipment changed we go from pick axes pans and donkeys to a dude with modern equipment operating in a mine..this is a Northwest Territorial Mint piece. This company blew up and went out of business. I saved this round from a friend that was melting a bunch down to pour some silver bars
This round below is a vintage World Trade Unit piece. It's got scales, globes and a whole lotta cool going on
Last up is a round that not many of you would have seen. It's a Sprott Metals 1 oz round. It's got a maple leaf on the obverse and a inukshuk on the reverse. The inukshuk is a pile of rocks that would have been assembled to let others trekking through the artic know where water or a village would be. It's a classic piece of Canadiana and I think pretty cool
Thanks for looking guys/gals! Leave me a lil upvote and comment if u love silver!? Follow me if u aren't already and I'll be sharing more of my rounds and silver and gold collection. Have the best day!
