Epic Weekend

Hi Friends,

I had the pleasure of meeting up with some members of the Silver Gold Stackers community in Las Vegas! There was a coin show going on, so Hive account@summertooth spearheaded efforts to get a gathering of community members there for the show and for friendship sake.

I know there are many members who could not come for a variety of reasons, and hopefully they may be able to fit a future meet up in their schedule (and as finances allow), but it was great to meet Hive account@dfinney, Hive account@silverd510, Hive account@enginewitty, Hive account@fat-elvis, Hive account@thedamus and Hive account@summertooth this time around.

We enjoyed the coin show, and everybody was able to pick up some coins/rounds/pours/collectibles, so that was cool. In other activities, we spent some time playing the casino games, had a fancy dinner together one night, and engaged in an epic game of Yahtzee (cost to play was one silver round or equivalent) hosted at thedamus’ suite in the heart of the strip (Hive account@enginewitty will have to tell you how it ended, though perhaps not everyone there will “remember” how it went down as it was late and the drinks were flowing 🤪). After arriving early Friday morning, I had to head home on Sunday morning, but the fun was continuing for some when I left.

I did not get permission to use photos of people in the group, but gave permission to others for any photos I was in, so keep an eye out for other posts from the meetup. Here are a couple of pics from the weekend:

I found each individual that came from the S.G.S. Community to be sincere and generous, and they were a blast to be around - I did a lot of laughing over the two days I was there Many great memories were made, and I hope to take part in future events like this.
