The third and final part of my silver trade story. Last time in part 2 I traded 10 generic silver rounds up to 10 avengers collectors coins. Well they're not really my thing and they take up a lot of space so they have to go! Besides a true stacker doesn't care about collector prices.
Here is the piece I ended up with after my trading up journey. I turned 10 plain 1 ounce silver rounds into a full kilogram(32.something ounces) silver bar!
What a beauty! I found a dealer who liked my Avenger coins and asked for $240 on top. Thats a win in my book.
Do you have any good up trading stories? Also I do have some collectable pieces in my stack, but this offer was too good to pass up. What do you think? Should I have kept the avengers, or is the kilo the smart play?
